Q: How long before you can drive on a new asphalt parking lot?
When Frank A. Macchione – Paving Plus mills and paves your parking lot, we see our properly installed asphalt surfaces last 30 or more years with proper asphalt repair and maintenance.
It all depends on how people use the asphalt and how much traffic it sees. Each job is different but we use the right amount of asphalt to keep your project safe and reliable for years to come.
Q: How long will a new asphalt parking lot last?
When Frank A. Macchione – Paving Plus paves your parking lot we see our properly installed asphalt surfaces last 30 or more years with proper asphalt repair and maintenance. Q: How do you maintain asphalt parking lots, roads, and walkways?
We recommend having asphalt maintenance done professionally. Although there are DIY asphalt maintenance products available, they do not offer the same value and standards our team of asphalt paving repair specialists.
Repair products require skill to apply and when done incorrectly can actually cause damage which may result in a project that is more expensive than what you would have spent having a professional repair and maintain your asphalt.
Q: Do you offer snow plowing, snow removal, and ice control services like salting?
Frank A. Macchione Paving Plus provides winter services, like snow plowing, snow removal, salting, and other ice control services on commercial sites, retail locations, apartment complexes, condominiums, and larger sites.
Our 24-hour dispatch service can get your winter storm snow removal in place so you can relax right after you make the call. Paving Plus responds quickly to snow plow, ice, and salting needs of our customers. We can will deliver sand or salt where it’s needed on your property.
Q: How do I maintain my asphalt to keep it black for years to come?
Cracked or grey asphalt can make your property look old and dated.
To keep your asphalt looking black and new we recommend sealcoating and regular maintenance.
Things you can do on your own is applying weed killer along the edges (you can also pull the weeds yourself if you aren’t a fan of chemicals). Make sure to quickly treat any oil or gas spills. We regularly fill potholes and cracks so the pavement is sealed. This will avoid water damage while extending the life of your asphalt pavement.
Q: Can you repair asphalt potholes or cracks in the winter or cold weather months?
Yes. We use infrared asphalt repair technology to heat the asphalt and provide repairs to potholes or cracks. Depending on the condition of the pavement and the weather sometimes a temporary repair is required. When the weather warms up, a complete repair is done.
